Google announced this week during IO that an Incognito Mode will soon be coming to Google Maps.
Incognito Mode has been one of the Chrome browser’s greatest features, allowing folks to browse the web without any of their movements being stored in search history. With it coming to Google Maps, we assume it’ll act the same, allowing folks to take trips without them being stored to their timeline.
As our phones become the primary way we access the internet, we thought it was important to build Incognito mode for our most popular apps. It’s available in YouTube and coming soon to Maps and Search.
Once this begins rolling out, we’ll let you know.
