Movado released its first Wear OS watch back in 2017 as a luxury-level device with modern looks few could top. Thanks to a fresh FCC filing that showed up today, Movado appears to be ready to replace that initial offering with the Movado Connect 2.0.
The FCC listing reveals plenty of info about this new Connect 2.0. We know that it’ll have 8GB storage, 1GB RAM, 300mAh battery, NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, IPX8 water and dust resistance, an LCD display, and options for leather or metal bracelets. The back of the device also references a stainless steel case. The processor inside is powered by Qualcomm’s APQ8009W, which is the application processor in both the Snapdragon Wear 2100 and Wear 3100. With the bump to 8GB storage and 1GB RAM, my guess is that this device runs the 3100.
