For international travelers who need high-speed data when in other countries, T-Mobile introduced new International Pass options today. The new passes will get up you up to 15GB of data in bunches, or you can still go for the daily Pass they made available a year ago.

The first of the new T-Mobile International Pass options can be added as a 5GB high-speed data package that lasts for 10 days and costs $35. The second Pass is a 15GB high-speed data package that lasts for up to 30 days and costs $50. If you won’t be out of the country that long during a 10-day or 30-day trip, the regular $5/day Pass is still available and includes the same 512MB of data.

To add any of these passes, you will open the My T-Mobile app (or online) when you arrive at your destination and select one. T-Mobile says that you don’t need to sign-up ahead of time or call before you go.

Also, don’t forget that if you have a T-Mobile Magenta plan, you’ll get 2G international data speeds without adding any of the above plans. I’m not sure what you could possible do on a phon with 2G speeds, but that’s a thing.
